Could the cute and innocent phenomenon really have to do with the very young being ripe for indoctrination by our subconscious self-serving drive to further our own peculiar cultural of beliefs? Hmm, seemed all right in my head but when I read it, it sounds like crap and suggests I must be wearing a tinfoil hat. I'm not, by the way. I misplaced it.Jen Averehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12357617794252082569noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6582896389184745201.post-38360266491506196172009-05-02T14:51:00.000-05:002009-05-02T14:51:00.000-05:00This comment has been removed by the author.Jen Averehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12357617794252082569noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6582896389184745201.post-8352377964789396972009-05-01T16:42:00.000-05:002009-05-01T16:42:00.000-05:00Fascinating. I think that's why humans are more inclined to rescue kitties and puppies over stray dogs and old, weathered cats. We react on our "cute & innocent" instincts most of the time.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6582896389184745201.post-715725808250847822009-04-30T12:33:00.000-05:002009-04-30T12:33:00.000-05:00Yes, but don't dog my Da Vinci. Anyway, I totally agree which is why some of the objections are annoying.Jen Averehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12357617794252082569noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6582896389184745201.post-47391214995988177152009-04-30T12:24:00.000-05:002009-04-30T12:24:00.000-05:00Its odd that we had art work by the masters showin...Its odd that we had art work by the masters showing anatomy schools way back in the 1700's and even earlier, that were also controversial. And what is even more strange is people point to the anatomy studies by Da Vinci as being progressive when he fudged things and left out things that he couldn't see.
Now we have the ability to see it all without the artists "mistakes". Seems like this is correct way to get as close to the 'truth' of the complexity that makes the human body so amazing.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6582896389184745201.post-52555609201847083392009-04-30T12:09:00.000-05:002009-04-30T12:09:00.000-05:00I think there was a different show in LA that I mi...I think there was a different show in LA that I missed! It's really funny to me that you can buy "body" themed merchandise! Kinda ghoulish and fun at the same time!
I think the other exhibit is called Bodyworlds by a European.
COoool!~Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
